Exclusive Services

Immigrant Community Development Center Inc, (ICDC) is a public charity non-profit organization offering accessible educational opportunities, hope, and empowerment programs to immigrant and refugee youth, adults, and families. ICDC’s open arms community focuses on youth, adult, and family’s education along with civics, and social engagement success. We are proud to be among one of the many communities around us that contribute to the anti-racism, social justice, cultural development and economic movements of the Western Massachusetts region by providing the knowledge, skills, and character required for the immigrant and refugee youth to thrive and become responsible leaders and engaged citizens within their community.

Youth Programs

In youth programs we provide soccer, Ludo (this is a British game that spread all over the African continent and is very like what is called Sorry! in the U.S.) to uplift the youth. We hope that the discipline of youth sports activities will help them improve their prospects in life. Training provides consistency.

Adult Programs

By offering adult programs, we believe that involving parents and elders in open activities will uplift youth and improve intergenerational relationships.

3

Civics and Social Services

Here we work with the community to provide necessary training and awareness such as assisting them with basic paperwork, translating documents, writing papers, and providing basic literacy courses.

4

Social Justice and Court System

In understanding the social justice and court system, a diversion approach is created for the youth to remain on the right path. ICDC will collaborate with other involved organizations including but not limited to: probation officers, educational institutions, and police officers to educate parents and youth.

5

Cultural Programs

Provides cultural education programs to uplift our boys and girls and to even gift them with pride in their own culture in order to help build their confidence while living in this hostile environment.

6

College Application

Immigrant and refugee youth are having even more difficulty than those born-and-raised in America in understanding college applications and the related loan and financial aid forms.

Job Search & Rideshare Program

With over 18 years of experience as a new Americans, we have gained valuable insight into the struggles they face. ICDC is thrilled to share that our job search and rideshare program has been incredibly successful. We have provided rides to over 500 immigrants, refugees, seniors, and youths with behavioral health needs, enabling them to access transportation to their workplaces, doctors appointments, rehabilitation, job interviews, immigration and citizenship interviews and oath of allegiance ceremonies. These initiative have not only supported their job integration but also contributed to their overall integration as new Americans. ICDC believes that by collaborating with neighboring communities, we can continue to make a significant impact in the lives of new Americans. ICDC is more than happy to discuss this further and explore potential opportunities for partnership.
